Enhanced Online Security
A greater level of protection for e.Business Banking and Treasury Services.
Recently new regulations went into effect that have required us to revise the way you and your associates log in to e.Business Banking and other online treasury services to make them more secure. The new security features we are adding will not replace the Access IDs and Passwords you use, but they will provide additional security to protect your business account information. We have done our best to make these new security features easy to use and set up. These changes will make e.Business Banking safer and provide greater protection. Setting up your profileBeginning in February, 2008 you will only enter your Access ID in the Account Login boxes on our website. You will also see a notice after logging in to e.Business Banking, e.Origination, Positive Pay and Lockbox asking you to enroll in Enhanced Online Security.If you only use our e.Origination, Positive Pay or Lockbox services, you will have to log in to e.Business Banking before you can access those Treasury Services. You will then be able to access the Treasury Services from our secure e.Business Banking site. This will provide a greater level of protection for your critial financial data and reduce the risk of losses due to fraud. There are two major components to our Enhanced Online Security System:
You can establish as many profiles as you need at any time. If you log in to e.Business Banking from a computer our system doesn't recognize, you will be asked to verify your identity using a Challenge Method you establish. Your Authentication Image & Pass Phrase
When you enroll in our Enhanced Online Security System, you will be given a random picture that will appear each time you log in to confirm you are logging in to the genuine e.Business Banking system. You will also choose a secret pass phrase that will appear with the picture.Your Authentication Image and Pass Phrase verify that you are logging into the secure Armed Forces Bank e.Business Banking System and will be known only to you. If you don't see them the next time you log in to e.Business Banking after enrolling, close the window immediately and call 1-888-973-4514. You can select a different authentication image or change your pass phrase at any time after you have enrolled. Your Challenge MethodThe Challenge Method you choose protects account data when you're logging in from a computer that has not been registered in our e.Business security system.To verify your identity, you will choose one of the following Challenge Methods: E-mail Challenge: This will send a one-time use password to your email address. You can modify the email address in your security profile during enrollment. Challenge Questions: Using this method, you will select 3 pre-defined questions and save your answers to them in our security system. Example: "Name of first pet?"
