Increased security = decreased fraud

When inserted in a chip-enabled terminal, your card’s chip will generate a one-time use code required for each transaction to be approved. Virtually impossible to counterfeit, this code helps reduce fraud and increases the payment system’s security.

Simple to use

First, insert the chip card into the terminal, then leave it there until the transaction is complete.

If the terminal is not chip-enabled, the card still has a magnetic strip on the back so that you can swipe it. Whether inserting or swiping, you never need to worry about unauthorized transactions. Visa’s Zero Liability Policy¹ will help protect you.

Accepted everywhere + extra benefits

Usable anywhere Visa® is accepted, your new chip card comes with these extra benefits:

  • Comes at no additional cost
  • Makes transactions simple and secure during international travel
  • Helps to support safer mobile commerce and ensure secure, convenient purchases in the future, no matter where or how you pay

¹ Visa’s Zero Liability policy covers U.S. issued cards only and does not apply to ATM transactions, PIN transactions not processed by VISA or certain commercial card transactions.
